"This meeting marks another important milestone in cementing democracy in Iraq. Despite the recent awful attacks by terrorists who want to ignite civil strife and disrupt the formation of the new Government, the Iraqi people and their political leaders have shown their determination that the political process will succeed. It is now vital that a fully representative Government of national unity is formed as quickly as possible.
