This morning, in the presence of Her Majesty the Queen of the Netherlands, the International Court of Justice (ICJ), principal judicial organ of the United Nations, held a solemn sitting in the Great Hall of Justice of the Peace Palace in The Hague, seat of the Court, to celebrate the sixtieth anniversary of its inaugural sitting.
